Ms. Batista concentrates her practice in Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Project Finance, Banking Law, Tourism and Taxation.

Experience

She has significant experience with foreign investors regarding direct investments in the country.  Her clients include major multinational companies in a wide range of industries such as manufacturing, tourism, construction, financial services, among others.

Ms. Batista has represented a variety of clients in project development and finance and international business transactions.  She has broad experience advising infrastructure projects, also lenders and borrowers in respect of loans from multilateral agencies and export credit agencies; and advising clients on various acquisition transactions.
