Experience
Mr. Vela has experience providing legal advice on foreign investment in the Dominican Republic, project finance, energy and renewable energy, insurance, mergers and acquisitions and general contract review for clients in diverse industries, from various jurisdictions. He was vice-consul of the Dominican Republic in Madrid from 2000 to 2004. Mr. Vela also lectures in the MBA at the Universidad Apec in conjunction with the Université du Québec à Montreal since 2011.
