Experience
Managing Partner and head of the firm’s Finance Services Department, representing Commercial and Investment Banks, Insurance Companies and Financial Institutions in financings, securitisations, restructurings, project financing, with broad experience in corporate debt financing. He has represented borrowers, lenders, credit enhancers and has been involved in a variety of domestic and foreign banks transactions in the country.
His practice also focuses on Mergers and Acquisitions, where he has advised several local and international companies. Also, has been very active in working in transactions related to Tourism investment and developers in the country, with extensive expertise in Real Estate matters.
In the recent years he has been pursuing the modernization of the law practice in the Dominican Republic and is well known for the incorporation of state-of-the-art technology and innovative practices in the delivering of legal services.
Representative Experience:
- Counsel to hotel group in recapitalizing in order to facilitate additional financings.
- Advising Multinational company from Mexico, in the acquisition of two local meat and dairy processing plants
- Counsel in the acquisition of the largest insurance company in the Dominican Republic.
- Counsel in the selling of the biggest producer of grain and wheat related products in the country.
