Dominican Republic, Egypt sign cooperation agreement
Santo Domingo.- The Dominican and Egyptian governments agreed to formalize a bilateral agenda for the next five years, aimed at fortifying the relations of friendship and cooperation.
In an official visit to Egypt, Dominican Foreign Relations ministers Carlos Morales signed with his Egyptian par Amhed About Gheit an cooperation agreement and letter of intent, the first such pacts between the two nations since establishing diplomatic ties in 1999.
One of the agreements states that the parts will support their advantageous economic cooperation between both countries on the basis of equality, and interchange in the areas of culture, sciences and sports.
