Labeling

The General Direction of Quality Norms (DIGENOR), specifies the details that must be considered for the labeling of food products which will be imported into the Dominican Republic.

Also, our Health Law No. 42-01 deals with labeling issues for products to be commercialized in the Dominican Republic. Regarding other products, it is the General Direction of Quality Norms the entity that sets the parameters for the labeling of the same. Depending on the products to be imported some other legislations may need to be reviewed and taken into account.
