Dominican Free Trade mission travels this week to D.C.

Santo Domingo.- The negotiating mission for the Free Trade Agreement with Central America and the United States (DR-CAFTA) will travel this week to Washington, to continue negotiations regarding the trade accord.

Director of the Foreign Trade Department Vilma Arbaje reportedly said that both countries continue to sustain the final conversations regarding the treaty, but that no agreement has been reached as to the pending issues.

During recent months, issues related to the pharmaceutical sector have created obstacles.
