
Dominican Industry and Commerce minister to speak on DR-CAFTA

Santo Domingo.- Industry and Commerce (SEIC) minister Francisco Garcia will adress the nation today, Wednesday, on details regarding his recent visit to Washington, where he discussed with the U.S. Trade Office issues relative to the country’s implementation of the DR-CAFTA.
The official will address the matter in a press conference scheduled for 3:00 p.m., in his offices located on one of the capital’s main throughways.
The Ministry’s Communications office informed that Garcia would be speaking in the company of the Foreign Trade director, Vilma Arbaje, as well as other member of the mission that traveled with the Minister to Washington, D.C. for discussions on the trade accord.
“The Industry and Commerce minister will share with the nation, through the media, results of the efforts made in Washington that sought to expedite our incorporation onto the benefits that the DR-CAFTA trade accord will generate,” stated the note issued by SEIC’s Communications office.
