Santo Domingo.-Authorities reached an agreement with Chevron’s fuel transportation firm, to thus put an end to the obstacle in implementing the Free Trade Agreement with the United States and Central America (DR-CAFTA), that allegedly emerged with approval of two resolutions on local transportation issued by the Industry and Commerce Ministry (SEIC).
These two resolutions had stalled the start of the trade accord.
This afternoon, SEIC minister Francisco Garcia will speak from the Presidential Palace on the details of the agreement reached with Chevron.
